Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.

pellmell.ai is a chat service that sends your message to multiple AI models and orchestrates their replies. You can use it as a guest or with an account (Google, Apple, GitHub, or an email magic link). Keep your account access secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything illegal, or to generate content that harms others;
• attempt to break, overload, or interfere with the service, other users, or the AI models behind it;
• circumvent usage limits, plan restrictions, or access controls (including automated scraping or bulk access);
• misrepresent AI-generated output as human-authored where that matters.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

Replies are generated by third-party AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading, and they are not professional advice — legal, medical, financial, or otherwise. Verify anything important before relying on it. We provide model output as-is and make no warranty about its accuracy.

Your messages and files remain yours. You grant us the license needed to operate the service: storing your content (encrypted at rest), transmitting it to the AI model providers participating in your chat, and displaying it back to you.

If you share a chat, anyone with the share link can view it. You are responsible for what you share, and you can unshare a chat at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

• Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions, processed by Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we do not give partial refunds for unused time.
• If we change prices, we will notify you before the change affects you.

Model replies come from third-party AI providers (reached through OpenRouter or directly), and features like web search and payments rely on third-party services. We do not control their availability or behavior, and specific models may change or become unavailable at any time.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where reasonable, we will tell you why.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

If we make material changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
